Serves 3-4

Have you ever had spaghetti with yogurt? Growing up, this was a staple at our house – a staple in lots of Lebanese homes and an easy delicious comfort recipe that uses a few basic ingredients, and can be whipped up in less than 20 minutes. This pops to my mind on a hectic schedule. The most time consuming part is to cook the spaghetti! All you need later is to sauté the garlic with olive oil, add to the yogurt, adjust salt to your taste and smother over the spaghetti et voila that’s it!!! A budget-friendly and a great recipe to satisfy your hunger on a busy day! The roasted garlic in olive oil provides the dish a great depth of flavor! Give it a try and I am sure you will find yourself coming back to this dish! How delicious!!

Cook the spaghetti following the instructions on the box and drain.

In a saucepan, heat the oil over medium heat and sauté the garlic just for 1 minutes stirring constantly.Add to the yogurt (including the olive oil), stir well and adjust salt to taste.Smother the garlic-yogurt over the warm spaghetti. Add a dash of chili flakes and drizzle some more olive oil over your plate, optional! Enjoy!!

Ingredients:

250 g. /9 oz. spaghetti 2 cups plain yogurt/Greek yogurt 5 garlic cloves, crushed ¼ cup olive oil Salt to taste A dash of chili flakes, optional

Directions:

Cook the spaghetti following the instructions on the box and drain. In a saucepan, heat the oil over medium heat and sauté the garlic just for 1 minutes stirring constantly.
